Tips for maximizing the life of your grass-fed butter:
This butter is unprocessed and naturally contains buttermilk which means it has a shorter shelf life than standard grocery store butter. Once thawed, scoop out what you need to soften and keep the remaining butter in the fridge.
About Golden Ears Cheesecrafters
A few years ago two young Fraser Valley women, Emma and Jenna Davison, decided to continue their family’s century-old farming traditions and start a business that produces artisan cheeses, cheddar curds and cultured butter using local ingredients. The dairy in the products from Golden Ears Cheesecrafters in Maple Ridge is very local — they use the high-fat milk produced by their uncle’s jersey cows.
Golden Ears Cheesecrafters brings their products to us in returnable bulk containers, reducing waste through the supply chain.
