Pancakes are the perfect fun and easy way to start your mornings off right. Drizzle your pancakes with maple syrup, or go to town with fruit compote and whipped cream.
Ingredients: Organic Sifted Saskatchewan Red Spring Flour, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Vancouver Island Sea Salt, Organic Fair Trade Cane Sugar
- Add 1 cup of the dry pancake mix to a large mixing bowl, followed by 1/2 cup of soy milk and 1/4 cup of water (Use soda water for a fluffier pancake).
- Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth.
- In a non-stick or cast iron skillet, add approximately 1/4 cup of pancake batter to well oiled or buttered pan.
- Wait for small bubbles to appear on top, then flip. Give it a minute to turn golden brown and you’re done! Don’t be afraid of heat - at The Acorn we prefer our pancakes with dark, crispy edges!
